Laser 3D – Laser cutting, welding, cutting, folding and prototype generation

Laser 3D has been an invaluable sponsor of Monash Motorsport since 2007, today the team relies on many of their products and services for manufacturing and as such they are one of our highly valued platinum sponsors.

A national company, Laser 3D has been in Victoria since 1992, catering to both business and private customers for their laser cutting and other fabrication needs. Laser 3D provide a wide range of services that includes; laser cutting, welding, cutting and folding, as well as prototype generation.  They supply Australia’s manufacturing companies with high quality, cost effective, laser cut products.

Monash Motorsport uses Laser 3D’s services to speed up our manufacturing. Through the use of laser cut jigs, we can quickly and accurately build critical components of our car, such as our chassis and the wishbones. With their tube cutter, we are able to notch the tubes for our spaceframe, reducing the manufacturing time from months to weeks. We also utilise their press brakes to bend our body work.  Without Laser 3D’s help, Monash Motorsport would not be able to build a highly competitive Formula student car.
